Founded in 1968, Medeco is a market leader in locks and locking systems for security, safety, and control. The company's customer base includes wholesale and retail security providers, original equipment manufacturers, institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential end-users.

Medeco is an ASSA ABLOY Group company. The ASSA ABLOY Group is the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of locks and associated products, dedicated to satisfying end-user needs for security, safety and convenience.

When you need high security protection, don't rely on an ordinary lock. Ask for Medeco.

Here's Why Medeco Is The Ultimate In High Security:

When professional locksmiths think of high security locks, they think of Medeco. Its been a name synonymous with high security since 1968.

High security starts with key control, a process that ensures keys can't be duplicated without proper permission. Clearly, if any one can have a lock's key copied, then it truly doesn't matter how tough the lock itself is built. That's why Medeco locks are built smarter-starting with protection against unauthorized key duplication that's so good, it's patented.

Medeco's patented key control makes it virtually impossible for someone to duplicate a commercial or residential key without proper permission. And, only Medeco authorized locksmiths are equipped to duplicate Medeco keys, and they record and verify every transaction.

High security also means resistance to lock picking and bumping. Medeco's specially designed tumbler pins must be elevated and precisely rotated before the lock will open. And, Medeco3 technology adds a third locking mechanism within the cylinder and on the key that adds an additional locking point and an advanced level of protection.

Of course, a high security lock must be strong and resist physical compromise. Medeco cylinders include strategically placed hardened steel inserts that resist drilling. And, its UL437 Listing, ANSI/BHMA A156.5 Grade 1, and ANSI/BHMA A156.30 Level A certifications mean that it's also been proven to withstand other forms of physical attack for the ulimate in high security.
